Unless you have been sleeping under a rock, you should be aware of the Wii gaming system from Nintendo. Wii features some of the most unique advances in video games that we have seen in quite some time. If you haven't yet tried it, you will probably run out to the store by the time you finish reading this.
One of the most remarkable Wii features is the Wii remote. It is the first of its kind, as it will allow the player of the game to control the motion on the screen by actually moving the remote. This allows the game player to become more involved in the game and creates a better all-around gaming experience. While this gaming system is loaded with plenty of other premium features, this is far and away one of the more attractive things about the system.

Wii channel's are another feature of this great gaming system and of course Wii adds their own little touch to it. Instead of having an avatar like you will want other systems, you have a little Mii. The unique thing about this feature is that you can edit your character to basically look like anything you like and some of the games will actually allow you to use this character that you have created in gameplay. There are other channels that are featured here such as the shop channel, the Internet channel, the message-board channel in the photo channel.
Since Wii Channels have such a variety of entertainment and information to offer, be sure that the whole family will love Nintendo Wii. Something else that is very unique to Wii is the virtual console. Along with the remote, this was considered to be one of the more attractive features of this gaming system. Virtual console allows you to play older games from previous Nintendo systems on the Wii. When you think about it, this is absolutely incredible as there is a dramatic difference in just about every gaming system and Nintendo has ever produced.

An added feature is the WiiConnect24 that allows the game to constantly receive updates and game content as long as it is in standby mode.
The fact of the matter is, Wii is going to stand the gaming industry on its head. People are already sorry that they have purchased the new Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 systems as Wii seems to be able to allow you experience gaming in a way that these other systems cannot come close to approaching.
