MadWorld Exclusive

As games piled up for the Wii game console, Sega and PlatinumGames created an upcoming controversial game MadWorld exclusively for it. The game was out from the creative ideas of Shigenori Nishikawa and Atsushi Inaba. The game developers aimed that hardcore gamers will recognize it with the use of Wii platform at the same time.
MadWorld starts when a terrorist group called The Organizers, have reigned over the City of Varrigan. They made the whole city a part of a game show called Death Watch. The citizens were then forced to join the show since they need to fight for their lives to survive from an unknown enemy and win the prize of one hundred million dollars.
Players take control of the games main character named Jack. Like the other citizens, jack has been a contestant of the game. Jack fights unknown enemies by using different tactics and outrages weapons around his environment such as chainsaw, street signs, bats, rose thorns, and daggers. The more skillful and violent way of killing that Jack has done, the more the chance of Jacks getting into survival.
MadWorlds game designer, Shigenori Nishikawa wishes that the game will be viewed in a more comical way even though it has a violent dark tone feature. The graphic novel Sin City has been an inspiration for making the graphics of the game. A limited palette color like high contrast of black and white and red was chosen for the presentation of the graphics.
The game received mixed reactions from the gaming world. Controversies had been coming even before the game was release. Because of the games violent game play, the release of MadWorld in United Kingdom was being opposed. Due to controversies, the target places where the game would be release are very much thought about.
But though controversies had been thrown to the game, Nintendo still supported the game. The release would be release early this year and the target places were North America and Australia. The decision whether to release the game in Japan or not is still on hold.

A First look at Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy was launched by Nintendo EAD Tokyo and declared by Nintendo for Wii. This 3D platform game was introduced on November of 2007 in Japan, United States, Canada, Europe, Australasia and September of 2008 in Korea. This is the 3rd 3D released of Mario series after Super Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine.
The game is led by Mario who is a hero and his main task is to save Princess Peach from the games primary bandit, Bowser. Galaxies filled with small planets and worlds are the different stages of this game. Gravity effects and new power-ups are available each level.
Outer space is the main setting of the game. Mario moves from galaxy to galaxy to accumulate Power Stars but he needs to complete the quest and defeat all enemies. Each galaxy is composed of planets and other space objects that player will discover. This 3D platformer game uses a new physics system that acknowledge for a unique feature. However, movements to a 2-dimentional axis are limited.
As of December 31, 2008, Nintendo had sold 7.66 million copies of Super Mario Galaxy worldwide. This game is the second best-selling non-bundled Wii and ranked sixth best-selling Nintendo-published Wii game. Based on Famitsus report, Super Mario Galaxy has sold 912,746 copies in Japan as of July 9, 2008. And since the launch of the Wii, as of April 1, 2008 Super Mario Galaxy has become the third best-selling video game in Canada according to the NPD Group.
August 2008 issue, Nintendo Power voted that Super Mario Galaxy was the excellent game for Wii and the only Mario game to be on the top spot on the list. The only video game to be chosen for the highest position. The top rated game of all time is the Super Mario Galaxy based on TopTenReview and MobyGames.
The Super Mario Galaxy is famous to be one of the best titles of all time and named Game of the Year by IGN, GameSpot, Nintendo Power, GameTrailers, Edge and Yahoo! Games towards the end of 2007. February 7, 2008, Super Mario Galaxy named as "Adventure Game of the Year" award by Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences at the Interactive Achievement Awards

The most wanted game console of everyone today is the Nintendo Wii. It has set a record of selling over a million consoles around the world that beats its other competitors"the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Gamers and non-gamers had been amazed playing with the Wii Remote. This Wii game console controller was designed based on a remote control and has a motion-sensing feature.

Nintendo has already presented their newest developed game console"the Wii. On their press conference last 2005 they have demonstrated the features of the Wii and its unique game controller that looks like a remote control called Wii Remote. Nintendo defined the Wii as a revolution in the game console because of its motion-sensing ability that is surely going to be a new experience for the gamers.
With the release of the Wii game console, game developers started to create games that will use the features of the Wii or else the presentation would be non-sense. But classic game can still be played on with the Wii console. But some of these games could not take advantage of using the feature of the Wii Remote controller.
A classic controller for Wii was also made by Nintendo. The Wii Classic Controller looks like a combination of the SNES and GameCube controller and like the Wii Remote it perfectly works with the Wii consoles system.
As what was said to be the traditional gamepad for Wii. The Wii Classic Controller was shaped oval with a curve, familiar buttons can be shown like X, Y, A and B, the directional buttons and the four shoulder buttons on the top of the controller with the label Z and R and ZL and ZR. Same as the Wii remote it also has the " and + buttons and the home button in the middle. Matching the Wii concept it was white in color and light in weight.
Retro games from past virtual game consoles like Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and NEC Turbografix 16 all perfectly works with the Wii Classic Controller. Unfortunately, games from GameCube console can not be played while using the Classic Controller because it can only work with a GameCube controller.
For the Wii Classic Controller to work it must be plugged in to the Wii Remote making it work wirelessly. It does not have its own power supply and gets its power on the Wii remote. For players that are can not adapt to the Wii remote yet this controller will definitely work for them.

The newest Nintendo game console"Nintendo Wii, has been highly popular since it was first released. It was known through promoting the use of the motion-sensing ability of its game controller called Wii Remote that allows player to play activity like games such as tennis, bowling, and even baseball.
In spite from this, damages caused by the use of Wii Remote were reported. Players shared some stories of remotes slipping out of their hands causing it to fly out and broke their windows, or crashed down the floor, hit things on their home and worse, some of them were also hit.
Nintendo provided the Jackets for free. The consumers and current Wii owners were given notice through the Wii consoles messaging feature and may get their free Wii Remote Jackets by filling the request form on Nintendo's respective website or by calling their special hotline. It will be shipped to them including the strengthened wrist straps also for free.
Current Wii owners and consumers were been advised by Nintendo to visit their website and fill out the request form for the free Wii Remote Jackets. They can also call a special number to personally request for it. Nintendo used the online messaging feature of the console to send this information. The customers dont have to worry about the shipping of the protective sleeves because it is also for free and an additional strengthened wrist straps comes with it.
According to the report, Nintendo spent an amount close to two billion yen or an estimated 18 million dollars just to supply the Wii remote jackets and wrist straps world wide. Though it was a large amount of money, Nintendo hoped that this event would not affect the financial status of their company.
Since the event, Nintendo then released consoles Wii remote with the Wii remote jacket. And because of the safety issues several third parties also sell out their own version of Wii remote jacket. But the free jackets from Nintendo is much padded and made to be easy to remove.
