The New Wii

Players who normally not be interested in gaming are now getting involved with Wii because of the gaming platform interaction and there new games.
With games like Wii ski, Wii is a win-win because of its ability to increase physical endurance and provide enjoyment for the entire family. There is no other console that can deliver the interaction of skiing from home in the middle of the summer.
We are in a new age of visualization and HD. Everything we do and buy has to be in HD and this is no exception for the Wii. There is speculation that in 2011 Nintendo will release the new Wii HD. Wouldn't that be great!
Another upgrade to the Wii in the rumor mill is how the player will interact with the gaming console. Whether it is a blue tooth controller with more features to simulate the real thing, we will have to wait and see.
There are also talks about a new storage medium. More specifically a large flash drive or bigger and better hard drive to enhance the gaming experience. Faster play and fluid like movements will be incredible.
The possibilities could potentially be limitless as new games and the platform are released. Imagination and technology coming together to provide a gaming experience that is so real you will feel like you have entered into a virtual world inside the gaming system.
In 2007 Nintendo spent around 370 million in R & D according to the financial reports. This shows that Nintendo is serious about making the next step into the gaming industry. With that kind of R & D the developers at Nintendo have the resources take it to the next level.
Even though 2011 seems to be off in the distance, the release of the new wii will be worth that wait. I look forward to 2011.
